The situation around Covid-19 is continually evolving and we are monitoring the situation closely. We have decided to take precautionary measures in order to minimise the risk to our staff, customers and suppliers, with minimal interruptions to our operations.

Protecting our staff

All our team members have the option and ability to work from home, if needed. Presently, we are continuing to operate as normal and will refer to government advice and guidance from the World Health Organisation, taking necessary steps if or when required. We have taken the steps of cancelling travel to countries deemed high risk until further notice and will continue to review and communicate this with our stakeholders.

Protecting our customers

At the time of writing, our Glasgow office remains open to visitors, however in line with the latest advice from the UK’s Chief Medical Officer we request that if you have recently traveled to and from affected areas, you do not travel to Synaptec’s offices and follow the NHS guidance on contact with others and self-isolation.

If you are visiting Synaptec’s offices we ask that you adhere to the following hygiene guidelines:

  • Regularly and thoroughly clean your hands with an alcohol-based rub or wash them with soap and water
  • Avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth – wash hands before and after
  • Cough/blow your nose using disposable tissues – Dispose of the used tissue immediately

Protecting our suppliers

We remain in close communication with our suppliers – many of whom are based around the world – putting plans and measures in place to ensure the safe and continuing delivery of services to clients.

We will continue to monitor and update our position in line with the latest government and WHO advice, but ask that our clients and suppliers take individual responsibility to protect themselves and others, taking the necessary steps as and when needed. Please refer to our website and LinkedIn page for the latest updates.
