Synaptec’s Managing Director, Dr Philip Orr, will be presenting on Synaptec’s technology, and its application to particular industry problems, at the PAC World 2015 conference.
The Sixth Protection, Automation and Control (PAC) World Conference will take place from 29 June to 2 July 2015 at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, UK.
Dr Orr will be present on Synaptec’s capability to remotely and passively instrument transmission circuits with multiple remote cable dips – a key cost issue for protection systems. He will describe how Synaptec’s unique technology may be used to provide multiple measurements of voltage or current along the line using a single fibre core in a cost-effective manner, enabling the immediate location of a fault to within specific line sections.
